User Configuration

Up to 11 non-Admin users can be set up with separate user accounts and access

rights. Non-admin users can log in to the serial, Telnet, and Web interfaces, but they

have limited access. The menus available allow the non-Admin user to view only

outlet and environmental status and control outlets to which the user has been given

access. See Figure 25 for an example of the User Configuration page and Table 28 for

a description of the fields.

Field Description

User Name Up to 20 characters. Clear this field and click Save Changes to remove a

user.

User Password One to 20 characters. Only letters and numbers (a–z, A–Z, and 0–9) can be

used.

User Enabled Select the User Enabled check box to activate the user account. If this

check box is not selected, the user account is created with the login

disabled.

Outlet Access Select the outlets that the user can view status of and control.

NOTE To select outlets from an outlet section different from what is shown, click Save Changes to store

the changes on the current page, then use the Outlet section buttons to change to a different section.

Changing sections without clicking Save Changes results in lost data.
