Unit Configuration
On the Unit Configuration page (see Figure 23) you can apply changes to the
Switched ePDU, such as naming the unit, changing the password, and setting the
inactivity timeout period. See Table 25 for unit configuration field descriptions and
Table 26 for advanced options field descriptions.

Table 25. Unit Configuration Settings
Field Description
Firmware Revision Firmware version installed on the Switched ePDU.
Unit Name Switched ePDU name. Up to 20 characters.
The unit name displays in the interface and logs.
Strapping ID Each Switched ePDU connected together on a strapping bus must have a
unique strapping ID. The Switched ePDU with a strapping ID of 0 is the
primary (or master) Switched ePDU, and those with strapping IDs of 1 to 23
are secondary (or slave) Switched ePDUs. See “Advanced Boot
Configuration” on page 91 for information on changing the strapping ID.
Admin User Name Cannot be changed from the default Admin (case-sensitive).
Admin Password The default Admin password is ipc (case-sensitive).
The password can be modified using any combination of a–z, A–Z, and 0–9
characters and must be from 1 to 20 characters in length.
Unit Time Time is stored using 24-hour format. For example, enter 5:20 p.m. as 17:20.
Unit Date Dates are stored in mm/dd/yyyy format.
Unit Day of Week Select the day of the week that matches the date. This setting is important
when scheduling events and sending logs.
