Setting Description
Public Community Name* Up to 20 characters long (default is “public”).
Private Community Name* Up to 20 characters long (default is “private”).
Trap Community Name (public)* Up to 20 characters long (default is “public”).
Public Community Password* Up to 20 characters long (default is “public”).
Private Community Password* Up to 20 characters long (default is “private”).
Trap IP Address Enter in standard dot notation (for example, 192.168.168.100).
All traps are sent to this address at port 161.
SNMP Enabled* Enabled or Disabled.
When running, the SNMP server is bound to port 162.
Trap User Login Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time a
user logs in to or logs out of the serial, Telnet, or Web interfaces.
Trap Failed Login Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address when a user
fails to log in three times in a row with an invalid username or
password to the serial, Telnet, or Web interfaces.
Trap Outlet Activity Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time an
outlet action occurs.
Trap System On/Off Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time the
ePDU completes booting up.
Trap Voltage/Current Threshold Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time the
measured voltage or current rises above the upper threshold or falls
below the lower threshold (as set in the “Voltage/Current Threshold
Setup” on page 49).
Trap Temperature Threshold Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time the
measured temperature for an enabled temperature sensor rises
above the upper threshold or falls below the lower threshold (as set
in the “Temperature Sensor Setup” on page 46).
Trap Humidity Threshold Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time the
measured humidity for an enabled humidity sensor rises above the
upper threshold or falls below the lower threshold (as set in the
“Humidity Sensor Setup” on page 47).
Trap Contact Threshold Enabled or Disabled.
When enabled, a trap is sent to the Trap IP Address each time an
enabled contact sensor changes state from Closed to Open or from
Open to Closed.
* Requires a soft reboot to take effect (select Soft Reboot from the Unit Configuration page, then click
Save Changes).
